SE 66th Rooms

I'm a pretty simple person who likes getting along with other people, and I'm adaptable to most situations. I would rather solve/discuss problems than complain about them, and I try to be empathetic and fair wherever possible. With that being said, I have no trouble holding people accountable. Whether you want to keep to yourself, or intermingle, either is fine with me, but please make use of the common areas as you see fit! (So long as you pick up after yourself).

The pictures show some of both upstairs bedrooms. They're fairly identical. 9' x 11' with a bit of closet space. The room does not come with furniture, but if you need some I can connect you with decent pieces for cheap through my work. I also make no promises on additional storage areas other than a shed in the yard for a bike (shared space), but within reason I can make space for a few extra things in other rooms.

I will not use the upstairs bathroom if you prefer to keep it separate, however it is shared between the two upstairs bedrooms.

Utilities rates vary seasonally in Portland for a few reasons, but anticipate ~$100 per month per person for water, electricity, and internet.

The property is very close to a few different bus stops, and reasonably close to Reeds, the Community Center, a few parks, and a number of shopping locations.

I am renting the whole house from someone else, and they prefer to simplify things by letting me handle all the roommates, but by all means get to know them and ask any questions that you so choose. IMPORTANTLY, they do require each applicant to undergo a background check through Pacific Screening, which imparts a $65 fee to you. They personally have a 0 tolerance policy for anyone: with an eviction on their record, active criminal charges, or any history of criminality associated with minors.

COMMON AREAS: The backyard, kitchen, and living room are available for everyone's use as living spaces, not as storage areas. Obviously you can keep kitchenware, food, containers, etc. in the kitchen given prior notice, and if you want to hook up a console in the living room, or do yoga there or something just discuss it with me first; but no boxes of random stuff lying around. The driveway is not included for vehicle use, but there is street parking, and the area is safe. The front yard is also only for the tenants in the front half of the duplex (totally separate area, but make friends as you choose).
