Nice Room avail. in Astoria- Apt has Balcony :)

Hi,

Thanks for viewing my ad. Here's a little about the Apartment:

-I have a great room available in a 2 bedroom apt. on a nice quiet block in Astoria, only a 7-8 min walk from the Astoria Blvd N. Q station and less than a 5 minute walk to the m60 bus.

-Great neighbourhood, less than 2 blocks from 30 ave. which has great restaurants/bars.

-Room can fit a queen-sized bed and has a nice-sized closet with 1 window and a sleeve for an A/C. It is unfurnished and faces a quiet block with lots of natural light.

-We would share living/kitchen/bathroom

-All cherry hardwood floors throughout and marble countertops in kitchen, bathroom etc. Newly renovated with new appliances.

-Living room has a nice, small balcony where I have plants/fresh herbs growing in the summer, great view of the Triborough Bridge & city skyline.

-Have a lot of the necessary appliances/brand new 50' smart TV in the shared living room, but open if you want to bring some furniture as well.

-It's on the 3rd floor, and a walk-up, but it's not too bad. There's several laundromats including one around the block.

-Rent is $1100 a month, but that includes all utilities (electricity, gas, water etc). We would just split cable/internet which is about $45 a month each.

-Sorry no pets :(- I wish!

Here's a little about me:

-I'm 26, female, native New Yorker, working in midtown

-Love to travel and meet people from different cultures

-Like to go out on weekends for dinners/drinks with friends and would love to room with someone who might want to do that as well

-I'm home most nights during the week and like to cook/bake/watch great TV (any Game of Thrones/Mad Men fans?)

What I'm looking for in a roommate:

-Someone who is relaxed and respectful of each other's space

-Open to male or female, non-smoker

-Clean please:) Pretty important, I just want someone who will clean after themselves/shared areas and I don't want to have to tell them to take out the trash, buy toilet paper etc.

-Stable income/pay rent/bills on time

My current roommate is moving out May 15, and I would like someone to move in then/sign a one-year new lease with me. May be able to move in May 1st, if needed.

Would need first month's rent/one month security. May would be pro-rated.
