I'm looking for a roommate to move in to the second room in my 2 bedroom / 2 bathroom apartment in Astoria. Start date Sept 20, possibly sooner.

This is a unique space which is like a 1 bedroom / 1 bathroom with shared kitchen and plenty of closet space. It's perfect if you're looking for a spacious apartment with a quiet and friendly roommate close to the subway!

-5 minute walk to the M/R train at 46th street so you can be in Manhattan in as little as 15 minutes
-5 minute walk to 24-Hour Rite Aid, restaurants on 30th Ave, 31st Ave, Broadway and Steinway St

-Private bedroom with 2 large closets. Negotiable to come furnished with full/double bed, dresser and/or with air conditioner for additional monthly fee.

ABOUT ME:
I am a non-smoking female in her early 30s and business owner in the healthcare field. I'm from Upstate NY and have lived in Astoria for over 6 years. When I?m not working, I am usually at the gym or yoga studio, hanging out with friends, playing in an orchestra in the city (don?t worry, I don?t practice music at home!) or on an airplane visiting friends on the west coast or overseas.

I am looking for a roommate who is a non-smoker in their mid-to late 20s or 30s, respectful, clean, working or in graduate school with proof of income to pay rent in full and on time. I will start working from home more often, so I am not looking to live with someone who plans to do the same. I keep early hours 5-7 days/week and am looking for a roommate who keeps similar hours, so if you?re a night owl, this won?t be a good fit for you. I?m not looking for a new best friend but if we get along well enough to hang out, that?s great too!
