Large bedroom in a 2 bedroom apartment. The room comes unfurnished. The apartment is near the Astoria Boulevard -- Hoyt Avenue on the N and W lines. 25 minute commute to Midtown. Astoria Park is 3 blocks away. Restaurants, bars, including the Bohemian Hall and Beer Garden, laundry/dry cleaners, and multiple gyms are nearby. The landlord doesn't live in the building and rarely comes by. The apartment is located on the third floor and you will have access to the roof. Also the apartment is rent stabilized, so if you were thinking of staying long-term this place is a good find.

My current housemate is moving back to Arizona. My name is Anthony. I am a native New Yorker, who works in the non-profit sector. I am friendly and respectful. I work from 9-6, Mondays through Fridays. At night, I am usually at the gym or out with friends. When I am home I am typically enjoying a glass of wine or whisky with a good book, watching Netflix, or wasting time on the internet.

Looking for a non-smoking male or female professional in their late 20s/early 30s. Please be tidy and know how to clean up after yourself. No pets please.

Utilities (Verizon FIOS and Con Edison) run about $100 a month. The apartment doesn't currently have cable, but I would be open to getting it and paying half the bill if you wanted it. Total move in cost equal $2,200 ($1,100 security deposit and $1,100 first month's rent).
