1 Large Bedroom Available in the Heart of Astoria

I have 1 large bedroom available in my 2 bedroom,. 1 bathroom apartment. The apartment is located in the heart of Astoria on 35h St close to all bars and restaurants, in between Broadway and 30th Avenue.

The rent for the room is $1150 per month + 1 months security deposit. All utilities and expenses are included in the rent. (Electic/Gas and Internet) The room is available now.

The apartment is near both the N / W and R / M / E (Less than 10 min walk to all) It takes me 30 min to get to grand central in the morning.

About the Apartment:
It is a good sized apartment with an open kitchen area and a shared living room. The apartment has 2 large rooms of similar size. The living room and kitchen are furnished. I only moved into the apartment in June so the living space is still a work in progress! I'm open to good ideas :)

The Kitchen has a large refrigerator and Gas Stove/Oven. There is loads of cabinet space for 2 people

There is also plenty storage space around the apartment outside your room.

No Laundry.

Your Room:
The room for rent comes with 1 wooden wardrobe and a built in wardrobe. The rest is unfurnished.

The room will fit a Queen size bed. (Similar to my room in the pics)

About Me:
I am a 34 yr old engineer from Ireland. I moved to New York 2 months ago and I have been living in this apartment for only a month. I work in Manhattan for a renewable energy company. (standard 9am-6pm)

I am an easy going guy who is a clean and respectful housemate, but also not afraid of having some fun!
I have worked and travelled in many parts of the world. I have lived in a number of shared accommodations before without any issue, making many good friends along the way.

I am an active person who loves the outdoors and travel. I am looking forward to living in New York and experiencing what the city has to offer.

About you:
I am looking for a nice housemate (male or female) where we can both get along. I have taken a 12 month lease on the apartment. I don't expect you to sign any fixed contract, just let me know whenever you want to move on, no worries. Short term could be considered.

Standard stuff like keeping the place clean etc... you know the drill. It will be your place as well!
