Unfurnished Room in Astoria (Steinway/Broadway)

My roommate is moving to Philadelphia and giving up his room in our beautifully located Astoria apartment. I?m in a fight with Philadelphia now, but while that goes on, I also need a roommate.

The apartment has lots of light and high ceilings! I exclaim this, because I love it. I know you're not here to find ceilings, but maybe it- the height- makes you as happy as it does me. High ceilings, lots of light, huge kitchen.

The room for rent is residential street facing, with lovely bay windows.

The room has it's own entrance once inside the house (if that's a thing you like!).

The room is adjacent to the living room, which is seperated by an arch and double curtain. When I lived in the room it comfortably fit a queen sized bed, armoire and desk, so it's not squishy (or maybe it's a trick of the high ceilings!).

The upstairs neighbors love a Streisand tune or a nice Menzel belt, so it's a pretty happily vibed residence. If this drives you crazy... show tunes, laughter, etc. just a head's up. It might not be for you.

Utilities usually cost somewhere between $50 and $100 a month - wifi/electricity (usually falls in between those numbers). Apple TV, Netflix, Hulu... etc. I have all of that noise.

Things in list like formation:

* Close to two subway stops (R, M). They are a 4 minute walk, tops 5, if you are a meanderer (no judgement).

* Close to so many bagels, laundromats, good food, banks, natural store, grocery store, also great take out. Fooooood.

* Utilities (electric and WiFi) end up being anywhere from $50 to $100 a month (usually they fall in the middle). I have an Apple TV for the streaming (and also Hulu, Netflix, Etc.)

* Available long term or short term (month to month).

* Bedroom is unfurnished (pictures include my roommates furniture). You?re able to paint the room, etc.

* Very big kitchen, hardwood floors throughout, living room, also.

* Would need 1st month?s rent, plus security deposit.

* LGBTQA+ feminist creative friendly.
