Large 2BR in center of Astoria

The apt is on the 3rd floor of a 3-family house on a quiet street 2 1/2 blocks from the NW Broadway station. We also have outdoor access to the backyard (shared with the 1st floor), which has plenty of furniture, a charcoal grill, movie projector, & fire pit.
The room overlooks the backyard and measures about 9’x15’ with a closet measuring around 2.75’d x3.75’w. Heat and hot water are included. Internet, electricity/cooking gas, and basic shared supplies (paper towels, toilet paper, garbages bags, cleaning supplies, etc.) would be split evenly. Technically, this is a 3BR, but I prefer to keep the smaller 3rd bedroom for guests or storage. As an added bonus: I also have a dishwasher and Roomba.

I have plenty of furniture (bed frame with memory foam mattress and sheets, under bed drawers, large armchair, desk, tv, shelves, etc.). If you’d like to use any of them, I would just need an additional deposit. If not, everything can be moved out.

About me:
I am 39, pretty laid back, and looking for someone similar to share my apt. I have a very lovable pup (boxer mix) named Pippa. You can see her in the apt pictures. I like to keep things neat without being obsessive and am looking for the same in a roommate. Basically, someone who actually pays attention to how their actions/behaviors at home affect the person they live with and whose efforts to keep the apt as a nice home, rather than just a place you throw your stuff, balances with mine. Ideally, I would like a roommate who I could become friends. We don’t need to become super close, but the occasional day trip or movie/tv night makes for a better living environment than just cohabitating with some stranger.
