We are two female roommates renting a queen-sized room with a closet in a 3-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment in Astoria.

The space well-lit with one large window and 9-foot ceilings.

About us:
We are two professionals: Lana and Carol. Carol works 100% remote as a copywriter and Lana works a hybrid schedule at a nonprofit. We are quiet, easygoing, and love keeping our place spotless—especially the kitchen and the bathroom. We take turns cleaning the kitchen, bathrooms and floors every single week.

We may have the occasional friend or family member visit but we do not bring any strangers home and prefer someone who does the same.

We have a large kitchen and make good use it. We’re both very mindful of each other’s schedules for cooking and using the bathroom.

We share a mutual love for travel, food, and meeting new people. We are both fully bilingual—one of us speaks Spanish and the other Arabic.

We both spend considerable time at home and would prefer someone who works hybrid or fully in-person to avoid the house feeling too crowded all the time. This is just a preference, of course, not a dealbreaker.
