Pretty room in Astoria

Hey guys! I?m looking for a female roommate, to move-in anytime until November 1st. Apartment is in Astoria-Ditmars area: 7-ish min to Ditmars subway stop, 15 min to Astoria park, lots of grocery stores. The place is on a quiet side street, but Ditmars restaurants are just two blocks away. The room is approximately 6.5 by 10 feet, has two closets, and is $800.

I?m the only other roommate (F, 33). I work from home these days (research in a non-profit) and camp and hike most weekends. I?m very much into outdoor activities, but also enjoy a good book and have a nice book collection.

Ideally, you are also an adult with stable income (you?ll have your own lease). If we have some things in common it?ll be nice. Please be LGBT-friendly.

I have a cat who is losing a buddy-cat with my roommate moving out. Cat lovers and owners are welcome!
