Bright and Cozy Room in Astoria

Hi everyone! Room opening in Astoria for August 15th- move-in date potentially flexible. We are looking for a 3rd roommate to take a small private room (9ft2in x 9ft2in x 7ft) in our 3-bedroom apartment. The room features a nice view of a park, gives great natural lighting, and includes two closets (one inside the room and one very large one in the hallway). The apartment common spaces include a kitchen, large living room with a TV, and a bathroom generally only shared with one person, as one roommate has a half bathroom in their bedroom.

We’re located between Ditmars Blvd and 23rd Ave., a 9 minute walk to the Astoria-Ditmars subway station (Subway lines N/W). You can also catch the Q101 bus to East Midtown at the end of our block.

The apartment is not pet-friendly (sorry)

Details:
-Currently $766/month + one month’s rent for the deposit.
-Must have a good credit score (680 or above)
-Must make wages/salary of at least 3x the rent in one month, or have a guarantor
-Must be reasonably clean (clean up after yourself)
-Must be mindful of other’s people’s space and noise levels during sleeping hours
-Must be respectful of others, and preferably friendly :)

A bit about the 2 current roommates:
We’re both 32-year old professionals working in the Arts. One roommate currently works from home (9:30-5:30). Outside of work, we both like to use the common spaces to cook and watch tv occasionally.
Our preference is to find someone in their late 20s - 40 years old (any gender) who works during daytime hours.

You can keep the furniture in the room for a small price!
