Small room available in Bayside

One room available in a beautiful home in Bayside! It is a 3 bedroom apartment with a shared bathroom and kitchen. (I have my own bathroom so you will only be sharing with one female roommate). There is a small space in the entryway that we have converted into a shared office for WFH/studying. The living room is mostly furnished, gets lots of light, and has a small balcony. The room available can fit a full-size bed and some other furniture.

Rent includes water and heat. There is a coin-operated washer and dryer in the basement. The neighborhood is VERY quiet and safe, and there is lots of street parking. There are a lot of parks and jogging trails nearby. The house is an 8-minute walk to Bell Blvd, where there are lots of stores, bars, and restaurants, with almost any kind of cuisine you can think of! The Q12 and N20 bus are down the block, and Q30/Q31/Q13 are less than a 10-minute walk. The LIRR to Manhattan is a 12-minute walk away. It is right by the Cross Island Parkway, Clearview Expressway, and Horace Harding Expressway. The landlord lives right around the block and doesn’t come to the apartment much.

I have a cat (very sweet, friendly, and well-behaved) so you must be ok with cats. Unfortunately the landlord is not allowing any more pets.

About me (Ashley) and the other roommate (Amelia): I am a bartender and work nights. During the day I study for the LSAT and am trying to get into law school by the end of the year. Amelia is a full-time student, completing a Ph. D at NYU and a Master’s degree at Queens College. We both keep to ourselves, but are very friendly and laid-back. We are cool with hanging out and chatting over a drink, having dinner together, or watching a movie on Netflix. I love to cook, and if I ever have the time, I am happy to make dinner for everyone and enjoy a meal together! We are LGBT friendly. We will definitely want to do a video chat with the 3 of us to make sure we all get along.
