Cute Apartment in Ideal Location - Astoria

Hi! I?m renting out a room in my 2Br apartment, starting August 1. Apartment is a block and a half to the Bohemian beer garden, under 10 minutes walk to Astoria Park and Ditmars ave, m60 bus to Harlem or LGA, and about 8 mins walk to the N/W train- 25 minutes to midtown. Ditmars is the first stop, so you'll always have a seat. Tree lined, peaceful avenue with laundromats, coffee shops, and restaurants and very safe and fun neighborhood. Walking distance to all the bars on Ditmars and 30th, as well as plenty of gyms and fitness studios a few blocks away. The room is street facing and comfortably fits a queen size bed, dresser, tv stand and tv, and chair. It has a deep closet and above the door storage for luggage, beach chairs, etc. Our landlord lives in the apartment upstairs, and there are only 2 units in the building. No crazy noises at night, no strange neighbors in the hallways, and if there is ever an issue our landlord is right there. There's no management company to deal with. We are above a nail salon, so no food or restaurants within the vicinity (which gives me some peace of mind about pests).

About me- I?m a 30 y. o female who works in education, so I?m up and out early mornings and we may barely see one another during the week. I cook about 2-3 times a week, clean up after myself, and keep my social life mostly outside the apartment (with the exception of the occasional wine and netflix night). Laid back, no drama, and like a calm, comfortable home but also don't require library silence all the time. I'm looking for a roommate who is sane, with no third roommate moving in with you please, but I don't mind the occasional guest or friends visiting. I'm in bed pretty early and quiet during the week and out and about in the city on weekends. I keep the apartment tidy during the week and like to do a more satisfying clean on weekends.

Just looking for an adult who will pitch in, not leave mold growing in the sink, and help take out the trash. Just be clean and considerate and we'll get along just fine! Unfortunately we are not allowed to have pets in the apartment. Utilities range from $60-75 depending on the month, and that includes electric and internet. The bedroom is unfurnished, but the apartment has everything else you?ll need!
