The room: Bright and sunny queen-sized bedroom (just under 12ft x 12ft) in a lovely apartment in the Ditmars area of Astoria. The apartment has a small, cozy living room, a big kitchen, and the bedrooms are on complete opposite sides, so you'll barely even know someone else is there. Available for a June 1st or July 1st move-in.

The area: Astoria is amazing. It was rated in Time Out's Top 10 neighborhoods to live in. There are more than three grocery stores in walking distance (including one that's open 24/7), two laundromats around the block, lots of diverse food options for take-out, a 10ish min walk to train, but worth it for the space! Only 30 minutes to midtown.

The roommate: You'd be sharing the apartment with me, a 27-year-old female professional who does Digital Marketing for a non-profit theater. I am quiet and keep to myself, but would like to be friends with my roommate. The type of relationship where we can both talk about our day. As far as cleanliness goes, as long as we respect and do our fair share of cleaning the common spaces, I'm easy going.
