Large-ish Room in a quiet part of Forest Hills

The room for rent is not furnished but comes with an existing built-in shelf/storage cabinet and closet.
It's on the second floor adjacent the leaseholder's (myself) room. The house creaks a little bit but overall is clean and located in a very quiet neighborhood. The LIRR is a 8 minute walk and the E F train is a 12 minute walk.

The room you'll be staying in will only be shared by one other person.

Utilities avg about $55-80 a month. Winter time gets a little higher than summer.

We are a couple holding the lease in one of the three bedrooms in the house, the other room is occupied by our very nice/friendly roomy.) We mostly keep to ourselves, very quiet and try our best to respect each other's privacy.

We have costco memberships so the house is normally always fully stocked. We ask that any potential house-mate chip in for essentials (detergent, paper towels, toilet paper, cleaning supplies, etc). We sometimes like cooking for each other from time and time, and when the weather is nice a BBQ in the backyard is normally scheduled.

There's a quiet time from 11pm but besides that we ask that you keep the common areas and the rooms clean.

There is a house-wide full bi-weekly cleaning which we all are part of (barring any scheduling conflicts). It should be quick if you normally keep your area clean. We try not to leave a "trace".
