looking for 1 person to take in an available 1 bedroom in a 2 bed/1bath apt in a 2nd floor walk up located in Jamaica Queens. The room can fit a full/queen side bed. Your bedroom has 1 closet as well as 1 window facing South/East (majority of the day your room is sunny). Your door is also able to lock. We will share a bathroom. I currently have a cleaning lady come 1x a week.
rent is 850 per month, plus utilities (gas/wifi included in rent)
commute into Manhattan in 11 train stops- in midtown in 45mins. Tons of food nearby, supermarket 1 block away, bodegas all around. 2 gas stations within 8 blocks, laundry across the street.
Ample street parking (alternate side Tues/Fri). Commute around 30mins to St Johns, QCC, Queens College, in under an hour for Laguardia.
about me: Native New Yorker (i can show visitors around manhattan). I work a LOT (corporate job, work from home 1x a week and also run a business on weekends). I'm sane, outgoing (working a lot taught me how to deal with allllllll types of people from the privileged to the drunks), straightforward, joke around a lot, but more importantly, raised by a Queen so i'm respectful and courteous. I don't do drugs but I do drink. I'm a basketball fan and music lover.
about your 4-legged roomates: 7yo male terrier mix who craves attention and a 6yo female morkie who always wants to play. both fixed and house trained.
