Affordable Room in Long Island City/Astoria

The room is a one bedroom space within a three bedroom apartment. The room is about 80 sq ft but extremely affordable considering location, and proximity by bike and subway to Manhattan. It includes a twin bed with under bed space, and this could also be disposed of, and could fit a queen with some spare space but could be a little tight. It faces west and has really nice morning light!

The room includes a closet and shelves along the walls for books and storage. Some other furnishings like a cabinet and small shelves could also stay,. The room includes heat, and utilities are electricity and wifi that add up to $50, split between three people.

The laundromat is a block away. We have a locked alley to store bikes. Our apartment that opens up to a roof with access by ladder just for us, and we are easy going and considerate, occasionally having dinner together and spending time in common spaces and the roof, and also pretty independent. We graduated college in 2017 and 2018, and both have jobs with normal 9-5ish hours.

In Long Island City, very close to the NW, and walking distance from the 7, R, and F, and a 15/20 min walk from the G. The room is about 80 sq ft. Food options, delis, and Key Foods within a few blocks, and a short walk from restaurants and bars on Steinway and Broadway streets in Astoria, and parks along the water. Delis in the surrounding blocks and quiet and residential neighborhood.
