About the non-smoking, non-pet, non-party apartment:
This apartment is on the 3rd floor of a walk up, 3 unit building. The landlords are an elderly Greek couple who live below us. They have a zero tolerance for noise but are friendly and around all the time. They receive the mail daily and manage the building/trash. The apartment is fully furnished, expect the room for rent. You can see the Steinway St R/M stop from this room?does it get any better than that?!? It?s a 10 min walk to the N/W. It?s 3 stops into 59th and lex (10 minutes). On one corner is a Rite Aid, on the other corner is a grocery store, on the 3rd corner is best damn Halal food you?ll ever have. It?s one block from a movie theater, Museum of Moving Image, restaurants and one ave away from the best bagels/beers/other grub you can find in Astoria. The apartment was 2 females and 1 male for many years. More recently its 2 males 1 female.

About the room
8x11. There is a closet in the room and you will have access to a closet directly across from the room. The room faces 34th ave. It can be loud(entertaining) at times. The noise has not been much of a bother for the current roommate or the roommates before. One Roommate once had an expanded queen bed in the room with no issues for that, a dresser, and room to walk around

About the roommates - 2 males young professionals:
Roommate 1 is 31, works 8-6 in digital marketing, Manhattan. Enjoys playing sports/watching sports. Cooks 2-3 times per week. He hangs out in the living room and watches TV. Rarely has friends over, family visits a couple of times a year, friends visit from out of town a couple of times a year. Drinks beer and enjoys nights out with friends. This roommate has been with the apartment for 3 years.

Roommate 2 is 27, works 8-6 (sometimes later) at a college in Manhattan. He likes to workout and eats healthy. Cooks 2-3 times per week. He hangs out in his room 99% of the time. He has his girlfriend over often and they stay to themselves in the room. This roommate is hardly noticeable when he?s home. He has been with the apartment for 2 years.

What we are looking for:
Long term only. Male or female, does not matter. The person must be a quiet, respectful, trustworthy. No loud music/movies after 9 pm. Having groups of friends over is not ideal for this situation. Must be clean. If you cook, you must clean immediately after. We don?t believe in ?letting it soak?.
