Attention ladies and compassionate gentlemen (emphasis on the gentle!) My roommate Yuri and I are looking for 1 new roommate to sign a year lease starting September 1st!

The Apartment: 3 bedroom 1 bathroom 2nd floor apartment on a beautiful tree-lined street. The living space is pretty open with access to the central a/c panel and an updated kitchen. The apartment has high ceilings, hardwood floors, exposed brick, TV/DVD player, updated appliances, furnished common space, and furnished kitchen appliances & utensils. There is also laundry in the basement! The available room is the smallest of the 3 with enough room to comfortably fit a bed and nightstand and also has lots of light with a closet - perfect for a minimalist. Located near M @ Seneca Ave & L&M @ Myrtle-Wyckoff. About 5-10 minute walk to either station! City Bike located right on our block!
If you enjoy the peace and quiet of a family neighborhood, taking walks, going on bike rides then this place is for you!

Roommates:
Nikki - I just turned 30, I like to cook, I'm a vegetarian and I'll be working from home for the next couple months. I also have a wonderful cat! She stays in my room at night but explores the apartment during the day. She loves to play, but she sleeps most of the day, what a life! *no more pets please* I am an Independent Sustainable Fashion Designer and work for The Consistency Project.

Yuri - 24 year old pastry chef who has lived in New York for 3 years, but originally from Calfornia and a huge animal lover! Yuri works for Blue Bottle about 4-5 days a week as a pastry chef!

Our current 3rd roommate is moving into her own place. The vibe of the apt is very quiet. Yuri and I have lived together for 2 years and we both enjoy a peaceful living space. We are looking for someone who respects the boundaries and privacy of others as well as the space. We want to feel safe and relaxed when coming home at the end of the day. Must be BIPOC and LGBQT+ ally!

Covid-19 House Rules:
-wear a mask when outside the apartment
-wash hands immediately after returning home
-contribute to wiping down surfaces after touching doorknobs and after cooking
-take off shoes once entering the home or wear house shoes at home
-open and transparent communication about who we are all in contact with
-no overnight guests for the foreseeable future
