Room in 3bed/2bath apt in Ridgewood/Bushwick area

Hey! We are looking for a third roommate in our awesome apartment on the Ridgewood/Bushwick border. The apartment is clean and modern and comes with lots of amenities like:

-2 full bathrooms with amazing showers
-large closets in each room with additional overhead storage (really wide and deep)
-windows in every bedroom
-WiFi
-central AC and heat
-large dishwasher
-virtual doorman
-laundry in basement
-modern rec room in basement with tv, couch, gym area (3 treadmills, elliptical, bike, and plenty of space to work out)
-bike storage in basement (with easy access from street)
-rooftop views

It’s a railroad style apartment so it’s really long which means the rooms are spread out (no one shares a wall!). The available room has a window overlooking the back area and as I mentioned above, lots of closet space (so hard to find in NYC)!! The room can easily fit a queen sized bed, dresser, shelves, nightstands, etc.

There are 6 apartments total in the building so it’s not too crowded and it’s usually very quiet. The apartment is located on a quiet residential street with a grocery store directly across from us, and the neighborhood has a number of great restaurants. We are about a 3 minute walk to the M train and just under 10 minutes walk to the L train. If you have a car, street parking is manageable (I have a car myself so I can give you tips).

About us: we are two girls in our thirties. Chelsea works part time from home and part time out of the house. I am a teacher and work very long hours out of the house Mon-Fri. We are both quiet and respectful of each others space and schedules and are looking for someone who is the same. We like to come home after work to a quiet and peaceful apartment. We would prefer a girl around our ages, but could be open to someone a bit younger if it’s the right fit. We would also prefer a woman, but would be open to a man if it’s the right fit as well. We’re both easy going, but keeping things clean, especially in the shared spaces, is important to us. We are looking for someone who is willing to commit to keeping the common areas clean as they go, and contributing to deeper cleans as needed.

Sorry, no couples or smoking in the building (but there are plenty of spaces to smoke outside).

Rent is $975 a month with a $975 security deposit. Move in date is February 1st, but we can be flexible if need be. This would be a lease takeover through August 31st with the option to renew.
