40 min car ride to JFK Airport and 25 mins to LaGuardia Airport.

Citi bikes are also available 2 blocks away. 15-20 min walk to M train and L train. B38 and Q39 buses nearby.

You can purchase metrocards at the train station. A single ride metro card cost $2.75. For visitors staying more than a couple of days you can buy a one week unlimited MetroCard for $33 or an unlimited monthly MetroCard for $127.00. You have unlimited swipes on the subway and local buses for either 7 or 30 days. People who are 65 or older or who have qualifying disabilities can get a reduced fare, which is half price. You must see an attendant at a station to purchase one.

OMNY is the contactless fare payment system for public transportation in the New York region. Simply use your contactless credit or debit card, smart phone, wearable device, or an OMNY card to tap and go. OMNY will eventually combine fare payments and ticketing across subways, buses, paratransit, and commuter rail.

You can now buy and reload an OMNY card at many stores across the city, including participating Walgreens, CVS, 7-Eleven, CFSC Check Cashing, Payomatic and independent pharmacies.
