Huge beautiful private minimally furnished (or unfurnished if you prefer) room in one bedroom apartment. The room for rent is huge, bright, well lit room with a screen separating it from the foyer. If desired, I can add a love seat with a pull out to the room. One nice sized closet and shelves available. Since the apartment is large, the room feels very private. Shared eat in kitchen and bathroom.
This in the best part of Sunnyside (the North side), a great neighborhood near Astoria and Long Island City. 20 minutes to Grand Central Station, 4 blocks to the 7 train.
Since the room for rent has no door, mutual respect and considerateness regarding noise is essential on both sides.
Seeking mature, respectful and quiet, person preferably a graduate student, professor, artist, writer or professional who is hard working and values a very quiet home environment, and is willing to keep entertaining of guests at home to a minimum, and always through mutual agreement in advance. No overnight guests. I have a cat and any tenant must be pet friendly. I prefer someone with no pets, but if you have a cat, I am open to discussing options.
