Female Roommate wanted for 1 bedroom in Sunnyside

Hello, I'm looking for a female roommate to share my two-bedroom apartment in Sunnyside, Queens. February 1 move-in or later. Month-to-month sublease. Must be cat friendly. Rent is $1,040/month plus half of utilities (Internet and ConEd).

The apartment is a newly renovated, fifth-floor walk-up. You will share a good-sized living room, bathroom, and kitchen. The place is fully furnished and there are TWO closets in the bedroom. Bedroom comes partially furnished with an AC unit, mirrors, shelves, and dresser. Option to also keep the bed if you wish.

Located on 39th place, just one block from the 40th street 7 train stop. Twenty-minute train ride to Grand Central, Bryant Park or Times Square. Sunnyside is a great neighborhood. I've lived here for seven years and I love it. It's safe, peaceful, and quiet. One block to laundry, grocery store, and liquor store. Awesome local restaurants and bars in walking distance.

About me: 31-year-old female. I'm from upstate NY and I've been in NYC about eight years, currently working in book publishing. I'm usually home weeknights and like to relax, drink some wine, and watch TV. I do have a cat, he's three years old and very friendly. Open to accepting one additional cat.

I'm looking to share the apartment with someone who is easygoing and social. You should be fairly neat and organized and willing to do your share to keep the apartment clean. No cigarette smoking inside.

To move in you need one month's rent and a security deposit of $500. I'd also like proof that you are employed and able to pay rent.
