Room with ensuite bathroom

We are Jose and Vincent, a married couple (gay cis men) with a 2 month old ? puppy, Bones. We have a furnished room for rent in our 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment. It's located in a new building in Sunnyside @ 39 St & Greenpoint Ave. We are the first and only occupants of the apartment so far. Rent is $1300, not including utilities.

To move in, we will need the first months rent and a security deposit of $1400, so $2700 total. We'd prefer a minimum of 3 month stay. We are planning to move early next year, the exact month TBD, but it won't be before Feb 1st. We'd give 30 day notice, at least, and would expect the same from you when you're ready to move.

The room for rent has hardwood floors and us completely furnished with a full-size bed, two 2-drawer night tables, a small table/desk with two chairs, arm chair, 39" flatscreen TV with an Apple TV, and two 3-drawer dressers. It has a double closet with a pole and shelf. Best of all, it has an attached ensuite bathroom with a spacious stall shower. There's also an in-wall AC which is great because it doesn't block the huge window that provides lots of natural sunlight and fresh air.

We also have access to the building?s spacious rooftop which has great views of the city.

Vincent is native NYer and Jose is originally from Colombia. Vincent is a high school English teacher in BK, Jose works full time as an executive assistant and freelances as a graphic designer. In July, we adopted a 2 month old dachshund/pitbull mix puppy; her name is Bones. We are sociable and generally pretty chill and like to keep busy. We spend many weekends on Long Island at Vincent?s mom's house while the weather is nice and under normal circumstances, love to travel on weekends too. Still, we love a chill weekend at home too sometimes. We work 8-4/5, M-F (for Vincent, that depends on if school reopens).

We both are COVID survivors with antibodies, so we take it seriously. We hope you do too. We'd prefer another guy for a roommate. Please be dog-friendly, but we cannot have another dog or cat in the apt. We frequently cook, so, we feel a roommate who isn't an avid chef is probably best. We like to socialize with our roomie, but we also like our space and will respect yours.
