Bright Comfortable Apartment close to subway

A bright, charming apartment in a friendly, safe neighborhood! Quick, easy access to subway, grocery stores, and laundromat.

I'm looking for a chill roommate I can be comfortable with. We don't have to be BFF but I'd like to be friendly. Your room is your private space, but I like to keep the shared spaces tidy. I don't mind the occasional get together or sleepover guest (as long as it doesn't become a third roommate situation).

The living room is fully furnished (but I'm open to changes). Plenty of kitchen supplies but also room to add yours. Your bedroom is unfurnished, but it has a closet. There's no finished roof but there is roof access, and I often take up a deck chair to get a little sun.

The apartment is located between two subways stops: only a 5 minute walk to either the 7 or R train. Plus the LIRR. We're also only a 10 minute/$12 cab ride from La Guardia airport. During morning commute hours, it's about 35 minutes into Midtown.

We're very near to multiple grocery stores, plus lots of good restaurants in the neighborhood. I love this area -- it's a quick trip into the city, but far enough away that the apartment is a nice size and not too expensive. Utilities not included. The owners are an older couple who like reliable tenants, so there's never any surprise rent hikes.
