A very Communal Apartment for mindful people

Hi we’re looking for 1 awesome roommate to be our third in a very spacious apartment.

We are more comfortable with a female roommate (Three's Company had the right formula) but we are open to the right fit for a male roommate. Ideally we would love someone who would consider our lovely apartment as a home and not just a room you would have at your parent’s house. Someone we can be buds with, share a common interest with or at least be open minded in conversation and respectable to the space and roommates.

It is semi furnished and includes utilities (electric, heat, internet) and other shared amenities. Sorry no Pets no drugs or inside smoking. This is a LBGTQ+ BLM friendly household.

Must be comfortable living co-ed and with an Alexa/Smart home.

Move in requires last months rent and a $900 security deposit. This is a month to month arrangement so if things don't work out it's easier that way for the both of us.

The room is furnished with a desk, AC and space heater if needed. There is also a Full size bed frame. At the moment there is no mattress, if one is needed I can get one. The only thing is if you move in and there's a mattress and you move out and there's no mattress its taken from the deposit. There is plenty of kitchen cutlery and equipment you can use, Blender, Food Processor, Microwave, Stand Mixer etc.

The apartment has a TV in a LARGE living room. Additional shared workspace in living room, separate dining room and kitchen space. Two shared hall closets for light communal storage. Bathroom with storage space.

-3 min walk to the 7 train (one block away) and 20 mins to grand central.
-3-4 Laundromats, one by the train is 24hrs Free Drying Tues-Thurs
-Grocery 1 block away, walking distance to Stop and Shop, Home Depot, Starbucks, etc.
-We have a BJ's card and try to split as much communal stuff as possible.

About us:
Female, 31, Optometrist assistant. Works Mon-Friday

Male, 35, Toy designer/Fabricator. Works randomly but late.

I will be busy until October 16 so I may not be able to respond to everyone.
