Lively Co-Opt House in Heart of Downtown Palo Alto

Howdy ya’ll, we’re an 8 year Palo Alto co-op started by Stanford students and we’re looking for someone(s) new to move in!
The room is a 10x11 upstairs corner room with plenty of natural light, hardwood floors, and a closet. Rent is $1398/month and there is a $1666.67 security deposit.
The house is recently renovated with 2 full kitchens, 2 dishwashers, 2 washer/dryers, large back deck with a grill, and we’ve built a music studio in the garage. The large back yard has a veggie & native plant garden, new hot tub, and 10 different fruit trees.
We’re located just a few blocks from the shops and restaurants on University Ave and from Johnson Park. Stanford’s campus is a ~20-minute walk, ~10-minute bike ride, and 10-minute drive.
We strive to be a cooperative community that provides more than mere residential necessity, where the well-being of each individual and the group are prioritized. We do this by fostering a functional and aesthetic space for open dialogue, safe repose, good food, and abundant shenanigans, since 2012. Most of us here are graduate students or postdocs, or tech working millennials in our late twenties and early thirties, with a mix of guys and gals. We have 8 bedrooms with 9 people living here (2 couples). We keep costs low by splitting professional cleaning service, internet, electricity, and groceries ($250-300/month). Food is central to our community and we share four dinners per week.
We are looking for someone who vibes well, is a good communicator, and has co-op enthusiasm! Preference goes to femme identifying folx or couples.
