Must Love Dogs! (Or At Least Respect Them)

MUST LOVE DOGS!

I am a female MBA executive in the tech industry, and I also run a dog rescue nonprofit. I have 3 dogs, and whomever I live with must really respect dogs. (Although no interaction is required). My home is in a quiet and very safe suburb, close to schools, parks, shopping, and dining.

My ideal housemate:

-Working professional

-Able to provide references from previous roommates

-Does not have frequent guests

-No pets (I'm sorry, my dogs are very selective with other animals)

-EXTREMELY neat and tidy in every possible way

-Sense of humor

-Has their own social life and friends, etc. (Introverts totally fine too)

-Courteous and respectful of other people's space

-Good communicator, either written and/or verbal

I consider myself a very good roommate -- I am disheartened to be losing my roommate from the last 2.5 years as he was wonderful in every way. I consider myself a private person and very respectful of others space. Other than the occasional "how was your day?" when passing in the kitchen, I do not immerse myself in my housemate's lives at all, and I expect the same, etc. I just need a stellar and as-normal-as-possible housemate, not a good friend. (But I promise that I am very friendly and nice!)

The rent is $1,200.00 a month, plus 50% of water, PG&E and internet. Deposit is $1,500.00. Month to month lease.

The master bedroom (carpet) with private bath (tile) is approximately 175 square feet (NOT including the closet space, or the bathroom). Full privileges to: Kitchen, laundry room, and swimming pool. Driveway parking available.

Next steps for potential roommate:

- Phone call screening for potential match

- In person meeting at a local coffee shop, or similar place, to further determine for potential match

- In person meeting at my home to explore the space, etc.
