Hello! I am relocating back to the east coast for my job, so I will be vacating my room in this lovely 3br/2b apartment in Mountain View. Available starting November 20th 2020, the current lease ends July 31st 2021 and can be extended. Rent is only $837... Yes it is hell of a deal in the Bay Area given its location, I would not leave this gem if I wasn?t relocating:
The Room:
+ $400 security deposit only
+ ~120 sqft with large window, facing courtyard and away from any street noise
+ Unfurnished, but I can leave my 10-month old IKEA furniture here for a great price if you?d like to have them (dresser, desk, floor lamps, mattress+frame)
+ Large closet with plenty of storage in the apartment as well if needed
The Apartment:
+ ~1300 sqft, wood floor and is already furnished with a dining table, couch, TV, Keurig and any other stuff that you may need
+ PG&E and Internet comes out about $50 - $70 per person per month
+ A Home Gym(!!) has been set up with bench, weights, elastic bands, floor mats and other equipments, it took a lot of efforts & money to build this out
+ We just moved in in August 2020 from Palo Alto, so it?s well kept and very clean
+ Super nice landlord & management who only help solve your problem with no bs
The Amenities:
+ Apartment comes with 1 garage parking and plenty of other spots around the complex
+ Coin laundry on site and is accessed by keys for tenants only, well kept machines
+ Pool, mail, garbage and maintenance office are all onsite
The Roommates:
+ Dude1 is a mid 20s software engineer at a Robinhood
+ Dude2 is a late 20s corporate development associate at ARM (will be sharing bath w/ him)
+ Both guys are clean(non-smokers), respectful and most importantly, mature and keep things to themselves, they are both working from home at the moment, never brought any party home and have been cautious during this covid period
+ They both order out often so don?t use kitchen that much, keep common areas clean and tidy, and are also proactive in household duties
+ They have both been tested covid-negative just recently
The Location:
+ Located on California st between Escuela Ave & Rengstorff Ave.
+ ~3 mins drive (or 18 mins walk) to Castro streets with tons of options for restaurants, bars and more
+ ~3 mins drive (or 18 mins walk) to San Antonio plaza area with Safeway, Walmart, Target, Trader Joe?s, Whole Foods and more
+ ~5 mins walk to 7-eleven, CVS, Walgreens, FedEx and several restaurants around the block
+ Everything you?ll need will be nearby, and huge selections of food/grocery delivery options within range as well
Expectations for the new tenant:
+ Clean, tidy and respectful
+ Smoking(cigarette) and pets are not permitted by the landlord
+ Need to fill out the rental application and provide 2 most recent pay stubs and a credit report. There is no application fee if a credit report is provided
