Private room/shared bathroom in 2bed/1bath apt

$1200 plus 1/3 of utilities (around $130/month)

Renting a room in a 2-bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment in Mountain View. Close to Mountain View caltrain station. The apartment has a dishwasher, laundry on-site, fridge, central heating, a balcony, and two medium size swimming pools on the property (nothing fancy, but they are clean and in good shape for hanging out with friends, they have a grill, etc) You will have your own mini fridge, or you could have half of the main fridge - whichever you prefer. You will also have half of the kitchen storage space, and your own closet for storage in the hallway, in addition to the closet in your room. There is plenty of storage space for sure, but if you need more, we will work with you to accommodate.

You will be sharing the house with us - a couple who lives in the second bedroom. We are a pair of ballroom dancers who are pretty laid back and very busy. We work five minutes from the house at a dance studio, and we also commute to San Francisco a few times a week for training. We typically leave the house around 9 or 10 in the morning, come home late, and stay up until around 1 am. We tend to spend quite a lot of time in the common area (cooking in the kitchen, etc), so we ideally need someone who will be ok with that.

We are looking for someone with a similar schedule, or who will not be bothered with us staying up late. Ideally our roommate will be reasonably neat and take care of common spaces like their own (the house doesn't need to be ideal all the time, but reasonable rules, like no shoes inside, no dirty kitchen or bathroom, need to be followed). We would love to get to be friends with our roommate, so it wont feel like anyone at home is a stranger, but we know that will come with time.
We are renting because our current roommate/friend is moving our of state.
