Private room, bathroom, den, entry, parking

Hello! We are renting out the other half of our home here in Santa Clara, which is conveniently located near the intersection of Homestead Road and San Tomas Expressway and easily accessible to the 101 and 280 freeways.

We are a couple and we don't need all the space in our house, and thus, we've decided to rent out the other half of our home. You'd have your own private entry on the other side of the house.

You would be renting out the master bedroom (130 sq ft) of our residential home, which has its own private door and own private gate entrance, as well as a small, private multi-purpose room (100 sq ft) that you can change into an office room or cozy den. The private bathroom is attached to the master bedroom. The master bedroom is already furnished with a desk table, chair, air conditioner, dresser, ceiling fan, while the den is furnished with a lamp stand, microwave and fridge. Upon request, we can also provide you a bed as well. (If you want unfurnished, that's fine too!) You would be getting one parking spot (on the driveway), and would have your own private entry to the right side of our house that leads to the back, where the entry to your quarters would be. (If you need access to a washer and dryer, we will let you use ours.) (Kitchenette in back)

The rent would be $1190/month, on a 1-year lease, and we would require payment of a security deposit (also $1190) upon signing of the lease. A 6-month lease is negotiable. The awesome tenant would be one who has no pets, doesn't smoke and can provide verification of income/job/financial aid, if a student. As we are located right next to the Santa Clara City Central Library, Santa Clara Swim Club and Santa Clara Central Park (all within two blocks walking distance), you would be able to go on your morning walks (or jogs), swims or even play tennis if that's what you do (the tennis courts are nice).

If you're hungry, you can walk (or drive) 3 blocks to the Mariposa Shopping Center, and either grab a bite at one of its restaurants or shop for groceries at Safeway. This location would be ideal for anyone who works in Silicon Valley or tech industries as well, as we are minutes away from Cisco, Apple and other big tech companies in the area.
