Bedroom available for young professional

12’ x 12’ room available for rent in a lovely new-build 2BD/2BA townhome in a developing community of North Garland (neighborhood is Riverset). Full access to laundry, kitchen, garage (assuming our cars can both fit), upstairs office/chill area, living room, and community pool. 10 min drive to 75, 635, or George Bush. The room in the pictures is the one with the brown couch and desk (both of which I’ve since removed) - it can come furnished with a bed, dresser and TV or unfurnished if you want that. You would have the “private” hall bathroom - meaning, it’s not directly connected to your room, but I (and my guests) would use the master bathroom, and you (and your guests) would use the hall bath.

Rent: $1000 + split expenses (utilities, HOA, internet, Netflix, HBO, housekeeping 2x monthly, etc.) OR $1400 all inclusive. Utilities go up in the summer, so chose what works best for you. You can move in generally whenever.

About you: “single” (no kids or significant others living in the house - respectful visitors welcome). Employed and/or in college w/ proof of income. No cats (they’re cute but I’m allergic) or kids. I am open to a dog living here, but we’d have to make sure it’s a good fit. No smoking indoors or outdoors (vape okay). Professionals or serious college students preferred. Chill/no drama. Tidy. LGBTQ friendly..

About me: Single 27yo male professional working in the legal industry. I own the house. Been living alone for about a year or so, don’t really use the second bedroom so I figured why not list it? I don’t have pets or kids. I work and volunteer a lot, about to go back to school again. Enjoy hosting neighbors and friends occasionally.
