Master Suite w/ Private Bath in Old West Austin

We are renting the huge (16' x 16') first-floor master bedroom of a one hundred year-old two-story house. The room has a large, private bathroom (8' x 13') that includes a claw-foot tub and two sinks. There are two closets in the room. One is a traditional walk-in measuring 5'W x 8'D X 9'H. The other closet includes a 6'W x 3'D x 9'H walk-in space as well as a 6'W x 6'D x 5'H crawl-space beneath the stairwell above it. The room's windows face east and overlook the back yard. The room was recently renovated, repainted, and re-tiled. The house is mostly furnished, with the exception of the room for rent. In the kitchen, we share silverware, pots, pans, dishes and glassware, and there is limited space for additional items.
You must be willing to sign the current lease which runs through July 31st, 2019 with an option of renewing the lease for the following year. We are open to couples moving in as the room has lots of storage space. For a couple, the rent is $1,240 due to the increased use of common space. Household bills, including electricity, water, gas, internet, and miscellaneous household expenses, range from $125 in the cool winter months to $175 in the hot summer months. The landlord requires a security deposit of $950 before moving in.
Our ages range from late 20's to early 50's. An older, lovable cat currently lives in the house, and we are likely not accepting additional pets. Though none of us knew each other before moving into the house, we have been able to create a relaxed and welcoming home. Since we will be adults (and a cat) sharing a house, we are looking for a person who is respectful of both personal and shared space and who is willing to collaborate with everyone to make this a peaceful and comfortable home. We hope to find someone who is mature, responsible, easy-going, and kind.
