Description
We are two women in our early 30s and early 40s looking for a housemate for the third bedroom in our rented Beacon Hill apartment.
* Rent: $800/mo + ⅓ electricity (~$25-75/mo) + ⅓ wifi (~$25/mo)
* Move in costs: First month’s rent + security deposit ($625)
* Lease Dates: Yearly leases, next renewal is 7/31/24
Looking for a responsible, respectful housemate to join two women (early 30s, early 40s) and a small, sweet cat (Mini) in a three-bedroom in North Beacon Hill. We are a remote-working Salesforce consultant and a former orthodontic lab tech, currently on the job hunt grind. We dabble in all that the PNW has to offer: hiking, biking, getting out on the water, farmers marketing, delicious food enjoying, and so on and so forth.
Apartment specs:
* Second floor apartment in a 7-unit building; access via outdoor stairs, no elevator
* West-facing windows and sliding glass doors opening on a small balcony give a sweeping view of Seattle port, West Seattle, and the Olympic mountain range
* Open living room, dining space and pass-through kitchen
* Kitchen and bathrooms were updated in 2017 with new appliances and countertops
* Living room, kitchen and dining space are partially furnished; we have space to accommodate new furniture and decorations
* Mesh network wifi with consistent 400 Mbps down/ 21 Mbps up throughout the apartment; ethernet connection available in the living room
* Coin-operated washer and dryer in the basement of the building
* One designated parking space off the alley behind the building
Room specs:
* 10x11 feet, including the closet
* Has its own baseboard radiator with in-room temperature control
* One north-facing window
* Full bath shared with one other housemate
Neighborhood: We're about 10 minutes walk to the Beacon Hill light rail station, The Station coffee shop, *great* tacos at Carnitas Michoacan, the Red Apple grocery store and Perihelion Brewery. We’re a block away from bus stops for the 36 and 60, 1.5 miles north of Jefferson Park, where you can get a great view of downtown Seattle, and just a skip away from the Mountain to Sound trail. New bike lanes recently added in the area. Our street is just off a couple of main roads through the neighborhood and across from an elementary school, so it’s a bit quieter. Free, unzoned street parking is almost always immediately available.
If interested, respond via email with a little about yourself, what you’re looking for in a place/roommates, and what your availability to view is. We are generally available afternoons and evenings.
