Fremont Apartment For Rent / Looking for Roommate

RENT: $1300 + UTILITIES (electricity, gas, and internet, so approx. $75 each. Current lease goes through August. **To clarify, I’m not looking for a tenant (I’m not the landlord), but a fellow renter, so you will have to go through the landlord’s standard credit check, etc. No application fee.**

• Living Space

• General:
o Excellent location: Fremont is one of the city’s best neighborhoods for restaurants and bars, and general atmosphere. Only ½ mile from Fremont’s main drag.
o Great views of the area, with a large broad window and no buildings in front so you can see a good range of the city
o small rental building; two, 4-unit buildings – we’re lucky to have great neighbors and great landlord.
o Good Walk Score:
o multiple bus routes and very reasonable street parking. Right across from a school and park, and surrounded by only single-family homes and townhouses (no big apartment buildings) so street parking is much better than the rest of the area.
o Very safe unit/building. There is a ground-level entrance with a double locking door, (short flight of stairs to upstairs this upstairs unit), then secondary entry also with double-locking door and a chain-lock.
o Washer and dryer are in a secure room attached to the building
o Quiet surroundings, close by ‘downtown Fremont’, but far enough away (1/2 mile) that you don’t get any noise. Across the street from a big park with a school on the other side, so the surrounding neighborhood is pretty mellow
o Easy access to main highways, both Aurora/99 and I-5.
o Close to a few top hospitals, both UW and Swedish
o Minutes away from other great neighborhoods/hot spots – Wallingford and Ballard, Gas Works Park, Woodland Park Zoo

• About me:
o I’m a 37 year old Seattle native. I am a grad student and work part-time. I live a pretty quiet life, no drugs or partying. I don’t drink but I don’t care if you drink or partake in other green alternatives. Typical Pacific Northwesterner, in that I ski in the winter and try to be in the mountains whenever weather permits. Between school and work I keep busy but love to get out and explore new activities, even if I’m from here. I have spent multiple years living in other cities/states but have settled back home.

o Looking for a friendly, respectful, neat person to rent an open room / share an apartment

You will still have to complete the standard application process as required by the landlord. You will also need to pay for first month’s rent, and security deposit ($650).

Ideally someone in their 20s or 30s - students are welcome, but anyone who will be a respectful roommate.
